Animal Trap Company Black Duck
Lititz, Pennsylvania • Circa 1950s
This decoy represents their Vac-Sta model and is in excellent original paint and condition. Although this bird was rigged up at one time I don’t think he has ever hit the water. The only thing keeping this bird from being mint is just the slightest amount of shelf wear and two small green paint drips on his back. These are the exact color of the green bill, and where left on the bird at the factory during the panting process. You don’t find black ducks by this company that often, and it will be hard to improve upon this example.

Bill Cranmer Miniature Greenwing Teal
New Haven, New Jersey • Circa 1970s
Wonderful miniature greenwinged teal by Bill Cranmer. She measures approximately eight inches long and is signed on the bottom. There is a small paint chip on one side otherwise she is in excellent original paint and condition. Head is turned to 45 degrees and is finished with glass eyes. Green winged teal female and its Latin name are also written on the bottom.

Featherlite Mallard Drake
Dayton, Ohio • Circa 1955
Used as a store counter display, this piece features a Datyon tenite plastic mallard mounted on a stained wood base and finished off with a metal name plate stamped “Mallard Drake”. The base is covered in a felt type fabric. This decoy still retains its original full color company tag which touts the many benefits of Dayton decoys. Overall in near mint condition.

Gundelfinger Mallard Drake
Jefferson City, Missouri • Circa mid 192os
Rare Gundelfinger silhouette mallard drake in fine original paint and condition. He has some light rubbing to the edges and a few paint scrapes. These pine decoys were fitted with brass inserts and pins to assemble the vertical duck silhouette to the horizontal bottom board. He features nice comb painting and is finished with tack eyes. Gundelfinger produced a variety of other wood products (folding chairs, tables, cots) and these decoys where probably produced from this scrap material. These decoys are far rarer than Gundelfinger’s full-sized models, and this is a nice clean example.

Gundelfinger Canvasback Hen
Jefferson City, Missouri • Circa late 1924-1929
Rare special order oversized sold canvasback hen. This decoy measures just over 16 inches long and 8 inches tall. The paint is 100% original with a few paint "pops" to the top of the head and neck and some rubbing to the breast. Structurally she is in excellent shape with "No" cracks or splits. She features her original deep red eyes and nice comb paint on her back. A similar example can be seen in Ken Trayers" North American Factory Decoy book. I have only seen three or four of this style and all have come out of the Wisconsin area. Rare Gundelfinger decoy!
